Our winter meeting is January 2-4, 2009. We plan to have services morning, afternoon, and evening Friday and Saturday and our regular Sunday and Sunday night services on Sunday, January 4. We will serve lunch and supper at Grace Chapel. Supper will be at 5: 30. Friday night and Saturday morning services will be held in the Wells Station Baptist Church auditorium, 1510 Wells Station Road, Memphis, Tn. All the other services will be at Grace Chapel.
Morning services will begin at 10 A. M. and evening services at 7 P. M. Afternoon services will be at 2 P. M. or sooner if we get through with lunch earlier.
The specially invited preachers are Steven Bloyd of Maryland and Jimmy Fulmer of Georgia. We also expect other gospel ministers to be with us and preach at this meeting.
We enjoy showing hospitality to God’s people in our homes, and there are also many motels available nearby. It would be helpful if those of you who know you are coming could get in touch with Sister Judy Guess, so she can make arrangements for you. We welcome you to our web site and we welcome you to our worship services. Our services are very simple, consisting of singing songs of praise and adoration to our wonderful God, praying to Him, and preaching from the infallible, Holy Spirit-inspired Scriptures. We meet on a regular basis to study the Scriptures together. Our congregation is made up of sinners who have been saved by the glorious grace of God. They have a warm and compassionate love for each other and for all the children of God. We strive to serve each other as brothers and sisters in the family of God.
We are vitally interested in the propagation of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. In addition to our worship services we sponsor The Baptist Bible Hour on radio, hold Sunday morning Bible studies at selected fire stations in Memphis, and are involved in supporting and establishing churches in India and in the Philippines. We also have an extensive writing and publishing ministry.
